OUR TOP SELLER!
Here's a great end-fed long wire 80 - 10 Meter multi-band antenna. Whether you're looking for a portable antenna or trying to put up a covert antenna that really works and won't bother the neighborhood, this is a great solution. We've been in the radio business for over 15 years and sold
hundreds
of these antennas to satisfied hams. They're a simple, inexpensive way to get on the air and
WORK THE WORLD!
At a total length of 75 feet, the antenna consists of a 25 foot matching section with a 50 foot radiator. The antenna terminates to your antenna tuner or radio with tuner with a
PL259
connector. Designed for low profile installations such where low visibility is critical (CC&R restrictions / homeowners associations, apartments & condos) and where no ground plane or grounding system is available, as this design requires no counterpoise and is end-fed for easy, versatile installation.
Modeled
after the famous Zepp (Zeppelin) antenna, where the antenna is an end-fed dipole. Connect the PL-259 end to our rig's tuner and run the antenna up an out from there. It is constructed of the highest quality UV tolerant cable. All outdoor elements are sealed with weather sealing heat shrink, and the far end of the antenna is terminated with a mounting loop for easy attachment to a tree, house or push up poll.

You can really get creative on the placement of the antenna. Run it as a sloper, vertical on a tree or pole, inverted L up the side of the house and along the roofline. Some even run it indoors for dorm or apartment style installations or drop it over balconies for temp / stealth operation.
I run two of these antennas at my house because of the regulations of my home owner's association. We cannot have antennas of any form, so I run the first antenna along the top ridge of my two-story home. Because the antenna is parallel to ground, the pattern tends to be very vertical, making for good local HF communications and moderate long range DX. The second antenna, I run as a sloper where I push the unit up during night time DX hours with a fiberglass push-up pole and get good long range DX propagation.
This antenna does require a tuner or built-in radio antenna tuner. It tunes with an SWR of less than 1.2 up on all bands (including WARC bands)
80 to 10 meters and is rated up to 200 watts.
