  • Condition: This is used, but still in good condition overall. It was my wife's machine when she was a child, and has been in storage for years. We don't have any records right now, but we plugged this in and it fires right up! The speed changes based on the 33/45 record size that you select. It isn't fully tested, and probably needs a new needle, but I believe it will work like it should!

    Up for sale is a great vintage consumer electronics item - an awesome
    Rainbow Brite record player
    ! This was my wife's personal player/toy that she used back when she was younger. It has been in storage for years, but we recently got it out again. This was made in the USA all the way back in 1983, by Ertl but for Vanity Fair. It has settings to play both 33 and 45 RPM album sizes. It hasn't been fully tested, and probably needs a new needle, but I believe it will be in working condition. I think this would be an awesome gift for someone, or a nice addition to your vintage toy and/or electronics collection!
    In terms of condition, I would consider this to be
    good
    . It has some wear due to age, but no obvious damage. It looks great cosmetically and the colors are bright. We don't have any records right now, so I haven't tested this fully. It may need a new needle tip, but I'm not sure. I do know that this turns on when you plug it in. It also adjusts the rotation speed based on whether or not you select the 33/45 RPM album size.
