    Vintage bronzed statuette of the ancient Egyptian cat goddess Bastet, depicted sitting with ears gently perked up and tail wrapped around her legs made in the 1950's-60's by Alva Museum Replicas of New York.
    This little Bastet is cast in Alvastone with a dark bronze, almost black veridris patina, modeled after the original at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. It's mounted to a wood base. The bottom has the original gold sticker reading "Authentic Copyrighted Reproduction Made from the Original at the - VIRGINIA MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS - Richmond, Virginia - by ALVA MUSEUM REPLICAS, INC. - N.Y."
