OBVERSE— In 1987, Disney contracted with Rarities Mint in Anaheim, CA to produce 11 characters who originally premiered in the 1937 classic animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. These medallion like coins were minted in various sizes and weights of both .999 Gold and Silver. The serial numbers were imprinted on the edges of most coins and were made to match the serial number on the Certificates of Authenticity. This set of all 11 Snow White characters in 5 oz. silver is quite difficult to find especially in it’s original Rarities Mint display box with all it’s Certificates of Authenticity. THIS IS THE SET YOU WILL RECEIVE.
This is the outside of the Rarities Snow White box that holds the 5 oz. silver coin medallions. The embossed gold writing on the front of the red display box is beginning to wear thin but these type of boxes are Very difficult to find in any condition.
