    Description

    Here is this very beautiful and unusual early 20th century antique handcarved scarab pendant , it weighs 7.5 grams and measures 1 11/16 inch top to bottom . The substance is unknown and the carving is done by a master with a intricately carved scarab beetle hollowed out underneath this front feet and carefully inlaid and set with solid gold that tests above 18 K closer to 20 K . The carving is very securely bezel set around the base with the solid gold inlay in the back of the beatle wings . It has a sturdy bail that will hold up to a 4 mm chain comfortably , please study the photos it has intricate carvings on the back of birds and fish in the scarab carving is almost beyond description , this antique pendant is very beautiful and in excellent condition in need of a home .   ...
