  • Condition: This professional gem microscope is in good optical condition with good mechanical action and good cosmetically. Stand is tested and fully functional, with good cosmetics. White plastic diffuser has some typical cracks but serves it purpose. Everything works perfectly. It was completely tested, is clean & ready for immediate use.

    Description

    GIA Gemolite
    This GIA Gemolite Mark V System features a very high quality Reichert / AO American Optical model 569 zoom stereo body microscope. It has been tested and is in good condition mechanically, optically and good cosmetically. It is rated about 8/10 cosmetically. The Reichert / AO American Optical 569, StereoStar Zoom, microscope has a zoom range of 0.7x thru 3x combined with 10x WF eyepieces that provides a bright 7x-30x magnification range. Higher factor eyepieces and auxiliary lens may also be used of coarse, providing even higher magnifications.
    It comes mounted to a Gemolite Mark V Gemological Stand with tilt and a full 360 degrees of swivel. It comes with a set of nice bright 10X WF eyepieces, fully metal gem clamp, dark field stage with a good iris, transmitted standard light from below and a nice bright field fluorescent light box from above.
    White plastic diffuser has some typical cracks but serves it purpose.
    This gem microscope / diamond grader system is in very good condition, it was thoroughly tested and it works as intended with smooth zoom action, excellent optics, a very nice brand new and smooth iris. It was tested and is clean & ready to use. Look at the 12 images provided and judge for yourself. All lenses on this scope are clean and the controls are accurate.
    This one is perfect for the professional; jeweler, gem grader or diamond grader that needs an excellent, reliable and complete setup that is ready to go.
