Heavy Duty, Dual Core 4:1 Balun Covers 1.8Mhz to 54 Mhz with Low SWR

Here is a heavy duty, dual core 4:1 balun that covers the 1.8Mhz to 54Mhz range.
This is a voltage transformer type balun and is used for transforming impedances to another level.
For instance you could use this transformer to transform an antenna feedpoint resistance of 200 ohms to 50 ohms.
You would connect the 200 ohm feedpoint resistance to the two single wires and connect the twisted wires to the 50 ohm line.
This is not a current transformer like the 1:1 balun , and will NOT provide common mode current attenuation. A 1:1 balun as
shown in my other auctions should be used in conjunction with a 4:1 or 9:1 voltage transformer to attenuate common mode currents.
The power rating of this balun is conservatively rated for 1.5kW or better.
