Up and let it hang down to the floor, Hang it in a Corner, Or Hang it behind your Drapes or in a Closet out of site,  Or run it outside for even better performance and hang it from your porch, or a tree.  3. Simply clip the special alligator clip from the lead in wire to the telescopic rod on your radio. (*Or if your radio has screw terminal's simply clip it to the screw on the terminal*) 4. Then turn on your radio and enjoy the much improved reception...It is that simple and easy to use.
*Note - Not intended for receivers with SMA connections unless the receiver has a external antenna connection.

Be sure to follow
All
the instructions that come with your crystal radio, such as make sure you run a ground wire or the radio will not work, also make sure you have the proper headphones-earphone a crystal radio takes special ones ordinary ones will not hear the faint audio that a crystal radio produces.

For radios with a proper External AM Antenna connection. There
MUST
be a connection on the radio marked AM Ant (Antenna)
(*Note* a telescopic antenna on any radio is not for the AM Broadcast Band)
Will not work for the GE Superadio Series which already have an awesome built in ferrite rod antenna that is hard to beat. *Also* won't work for the CC Radio Original First Edition due to that edition's design flaw.
But
Will work for the CC Radio Plus Editions
. 1. Mount the antenna outdoors. 2. Either connect the alligator clip from the lead in wire to the radios AM antenna screw such as on the CC Radio Plus Series or cut off the alligator clip and strip 1/4 inch or less plastic off the lead in wire and connect it to the radios screw. Or if the radio has a spring clip connection such as is on a Grundig S350, Eton S350, Tecson BCL 2000 & Tecson BCL 3000 then cut off the alligator clip and strip 1/4 inch of the plastic away from the lead in wire and connect it to the Ant Clip on the radio. Then run a separate wire from the radios ground connection to either a ground rod or a cold water pipe. *Grounding is not always needed but
usually
makes a good improvement*
*If you are inside where reception is poor such as a metal - aluminum type building like I am with my DX 394 then this antenna when installed outdoors will improve your AM reception.*

The Worldtenna Helical All Band Antenna covers all the Shortwave Bands 11 Meters Through 120 Meters. ...*Please note Bands 11 Meters through 25 Meters Are Mostly open during daylight hrs....And Bands 31 Meters through 120 Meters are excellent for nighttime hrs after 6pm.
