M33 steel h e l m e t of the Italian Army, in an extremely rare version in sniper camouflage. There were very few of them because this specialty at the time was reduced to a minimum, and composed exclusively by specialized NCOs operating within a few selected units. I think the period dates back to the 60s / 70s given the color of the underlying paint, together with the light khaki chin strap. It is composed of the classic camouflage vintage hood cloth in M29 camouflage, to which various camouflage straps and pieces of painted jute sack were sewn. Securely holds the canvas, the black rubber band from the inner tube. The headgear has been used, it is in very good condition. The helmet without cover is in good condition with obviously its original paint. The size shown is 7 - 1/4 (EU58).
