Italian Army vintage Moretto traditional Bersaglieri hat of the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment. This moretto has a rare beautiful very expensive extra large plumage composed by 400 plumes (standard is 135). The hat has been few used, it is in very good condition and complete. The original leather chinstrap was internally lined with crimson velvet, typical color of the Bersaglieri Corps. The little golden stars inside refer to the number of years in which the soldier, a non-commissioned officer, served in the Bersaglieri. There is a slight bending of the disc which is absolutely normal in a 50/60 year old headgear.The size is about US 7(EU 56) without commitment regarding size. Totally original and complete.
