    Nikon Diaphot Microscope DIC contrast 0.52 condenser LWD in good working condition
    The major components are as follows:
    - powers on, 12w 50w lights up, adjustment well up to 12V
    -suite of filters selection
    -field diaphragm smooth adjustment
    DIC components:
    -Nikon DIC 0.52 long working distance condenser with 6 openings: bright field, phase contrast Ph1, PH2, and DIC prisms for 10x,20x and 40x. All openings are affected with iris adjustment.
    - a rotatable lambda wave plate
    -a linear polarizer inserted into the circular dovetail slot
    - an analyzer slider on the back focal plane of the objectives
    -large sample stage with smooth X-Y adjustment
    -quintuple nosepiece turret with 4 objectives: PhL plan 4x, plan 10x DIC, 20x DIC and 40x DIC. The latter three objectives are not able to be rotated out by hands. All are tested and produced clear images.
    -fluorescence block carrier: appropriate filters can be mounted if fluorescence imaging is need.
    - Binocular head with pair Nikon CFW 10x eyepieces
    -built in Bertrand lens can be switched to. The fine focus seems stuck. It’s not a necessary component in DIC imaging.
    -different photography selections: all levers can be pushed in/pulled out. One lever: 100 percent visual to 20 percent visual/80 percent photo; another lever: front photo port for 35 mm camera or the side port for cinemicrography
    - Coarse and fine focus work well
