Housed in its original antique French PRESENTATION BOX, we hardly ever come across AUTHENTIC factory original antique miniature toilette sets such as the one featured here, especially in this wonderful SMALLER SCALE
as they are COVETED by doll collectors who love the accessory items as much as the dolls

The set consists of five miniature antique PORCELAIN PIECES with an unusual and lovely blue onion style floral motif that are housed in the interior bottom compartment, and on the inside of the top lid are the miniature TOILETTE NECESSAIRES including a miniature floral fabric covered oval mirror in the center with a faux tortoiseshell celluloid toilette brush and miniature sponge on the left side of the mirror and a tiny glass perfume bottle with a faux tortoiseshell celluloid comb on the right!
The interior of the box has its original PINK PAPER that have the original cut-out cardboard cavities which house the porcelain pieces securely in place, as well as the original string ties that hold all of the pieces, although they have stretched with age; a couple of them still have their original red silk decorative ribbon bows!
The porcelain set is a hard to find SMALLER SCALE, consisting of a pitcher measuring only 2 3/4" tall and the bowl measuring 3 1/4" in diameter, a compote jar with its original contents measuring 1 1/2" in diameter, a toothbrush holder measuring 2 5/8" long, and a tiny soap dish with original real soap measuring 2" long!   The toilette necessaire pieces including the mirror measures 5" tall, the brush measures 3" long, the sponge measures 1 1/2" by 1", the perfume measures a tiny 1 3/8" tall, and the comb is 2 3/4" long!  With the exception of a chip on the inside rim of the soap dish and a tiny flea bite chip on the corner of the tooth brush dish, all of the pieces are in their original preserved state and display beautifully!
The gorgeous and colorful presentation box measures only 8 1/2" wide, 6 3/4" deep and 2 3/4" high when closed and when opened measures 9" tall.  It is covered with its original pink and tan geometric patterned paper with gold trim, and has the original "TOILETTE" label across the top, as well as a decorative gold ormolu clasp with the letters "H.R." incised on it!
