UNISSUED GI CAMO. COLD WEATHER INSULATING CAP HELMET LINER SZ. 6 1/2

Description

This is an ORIGINAL UNISSUED CAMOUFLAGE COLD WEATHER INSULATING CAP HELMET LINER SIZE 6 1/2  DATED 85. The Camouflage Cold Weather Insulating Cap Helmet Liner was worn under the helmet to help keep there heads warm.
The hood could also be worn just as a hood / hat without the helmet.
The outside of the hood is made of an camouflage color cotton / nylon material. On each side there is a slit on each side for the helmet chin strap to fit through. On the front there is Velcro for fastening around your neck. The inside is lined with a wool blanket type of material. Inside there are 2 sewn in labels. One label reads CAP, COLD WEATHER,  INSULATING HELMET LINER, WOODLAND CAMOUFLAGE, CLASS 2, DLA100-85-C-0687, 8415-01-099-7843, 80% COTTON 20% NYLON, PROTECTIVE APPAREL CORP. OF AMERICA and the number 6 1/2 for the size.
The other label reads CAP, COLD WEATHER, INSULATING, HELMET LINER with wearing and laundering instructions. The Cap Insulating Helmet Liner 6 1/2  Dated 85 is in new condition.
