    Description

    This clear visor was issued to me in the early 90's.  It was never installed on a helmet or used, the original plastic wrap is still on the retaining straps.  The cloth case is used.  These helmets were issued to some in my squadron but not Navy wide.  I believe they were more of an Air Force item but some of them fell off a truck and some Navy squadrons acquired them.  I heard.  I was issued one helmet (keeping that) and an assortment of visors and parts.  That cool helmet did help me beat the pants off many Air Force ladies over the next few years.
