USN INTERMEDIATE COLD WEATHER WOOL CAP NEW OLD STOCK 1961 VIETNAM ERA MEDIUM

Brand new old stock from 1961. These caps have flaps, as you can see, that fold up inside the hat when the weather isnt quite so cold. they have a wool lining that isnt really scratchy so probably 75% wool the same as the military socks. These are in size medium, which according to the army is from 6 7/8 to 7 however we have tried this on a person that wears a larger size and it streches a bit. It will for sure fit the size listed. This listing is for one hat or cap that is in the pictures. If we have listed it as new then it has never been worn but it might show some dust from storage. If there is any odors that are present we will make a note of it here. We store all of our products in our warehouse and not in a home where there would be smoke or pet odors. We have found that most All military stuff has some sort of odor from the manufacturing process and we always recomend that you wash even new garments prior to their first use.
