Afghanka cap goes with ear flaps which
protect ears and neck from strong wind and sand.
Size 56cm or 22in circumference
The Afghan field cap was a part of the summer military uniform of the Soviet troops in Afghanistan during the Afghan Conflict. The cap is made of sturdy dark khaki cotton fabric. It provides superior camouflage properties.
It has four ventilation eyelets on the sides and folding ear flaps that can be buttoned on the chin.
Brand-new, unissued. Never worn.
Have been in military storage for many years.
All caps are in a perfect condition.
Made in the USSR in 1980s.
Made at Priluky textile factory (Ukraine, a former Soviet republic) in the 1980's. OTK stamp inside.
Sold from the Soviet military surplus.
