Vintage 80s 90s IDF Israeli Defense Forces Tama M1 Helmet Liner

Description

This 80s IDF Israeli Defense Forces M1 Helmet Liner is in good condition overall but does show signs of service and age. The helmet liner is clearly marked with the Israeli company "Tama's" maker mark, along with other handwritten characters on the liner and sweatband. Some of the liner hardware shows signs of age and storage with mild rust and corrosion but all is solidly in place. The canvas straps are in good condition and none appear to be in danger of ripping or tearing under tension. I cannot find any markings on the sweatband but it appears to be identical to USGI issued sweatbands from the 70s and 80s I have encountered. Of particular note, there are several handwritten characters on the inside of of the liner that appear to be Israeli in origin. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of contents and their condition.
