    Description

    Vintage military helmet.Czech M30.Most likley used in the Spanish civil War(1936-1939)by the Spanish Republican Armed Forces AND Nationalist Forces who captiured and re-painted them to the colors of their regime. The M30 had been manufactured by the Czech Republic Post WWI for Czech forces but was replaced by the M32 before even being issued, then placed in surplus. When War broke in Spain,the the demand for equipment quickly outgrew their manufacturing capability. So the Spanish Republican Government purchased the Czech surplus to fill that gap. Condition is "Used",Unrestored,The liner and chinstrap are long gone. The chinstrap buckles are intact, as are the vent lugs. Still, a fine addition to any Historical Militaria Collection.
