Vintage Packet Of Evelyn Ackerman French Doll Dress Patterns

Evelyn Ackerman was an accomplished artist who’s works can be seen in galleries around the world, and she worked with her husband to create pieces in ceramic, wood, mosaics, textiles and enamels, but she was enamored of antique toys and dolls. She created pattern books for dressing antique dolls that were the first based on research and were authentic to the dress of the period. I believe this packet is the reissued pattern book but is none the less valuable for it is simply a reprint of her original patterns that became the standard of collecting. Even the reprint is vintage. The envelope contains 19 patterns for clothing shown in my photos. The pages are uncut and in almost pristine condition. This is a valuable asset for any collector of antique dolls. Each pattern is accompanied by Ms. Ackerman’s sterling instructions. Each page measures the standard 8-1/2” by 11”.
