Badges feel like very thin metal - if plastic, it's a really top notch kind! Overall great shape for age- some specks of dirt and stains inside, 2 specks of "blue" looks like droplets of paint (pic#6), I did not attempt to remove it as I do not want to risk destroying the fabric.The gray band feels like wool. A small chip on edge of visor (pic#8). Pic #11 - I lifted the brown banding to show how it looks underneath.  Please check photos before buying and let me know if you have any questions.  SAC# 3099

I measured the inside, is about 22.5"-23" in circumference
