VERY RARE Yugoslavian People's Army (JNA) Military Police & Reconnaissance & Commandos (Task Force) units beret. Model 1991/1992, based on JNA Airborne berets.
With 1st type post-communist ''transitional'' officer's insignia, introduced in October 1991 to replace abolished communist red star symbols.
It was used by Reconnaissance, Military Police & Commando (Task Force) units of JNA only during initial stage of war (1991-1992). It was part of special M89 olive-gray dress, or M89 camouflage dress.
Used by enlisted, NCOs and Officers.
Produced in very limited series only in 1991 and 1992.
With distinctive JNA green leather hem and lace, for the last time used in 1992 and soon after replaced by black ones.
A true collector's piece.
